Yes its just kinda difficult. If you threw an empty bag out the wwindow or something I doubt they'll print it tho.
hmm, like how difficult... I ditched a bag that the police found and my parents are requesting that the police fingerprint me. I told them it wasn't mine(if I HAD fessed up they would have made me plead guilty) and now I'm afraid that I'll be convicted because of my parents...
if you could tell us where you ditched it and all that, cuz that would help in finding out cuz im sure the weather could wear the prints down
ok here goes... My two friends and I went from my house to a park nearby. I had in my posession: bag of bud(mostly stems), a smoking apple. My other two friends both had cigerrettes and one had a bag of peruvian torch. We met another guy there who had a couple bottles of beer and a bottle of white wine. No sooner had he appeared then we noticed a cop car slowing down. We dipped deeper into the park. Unknown to me my friends ditched all their shit(I'm a fast runner and was in front). We got hit by a spotlight and were told to stop. I kept running for a bit, but all my friends stopped so I just dropped the bag and the apple by a building and followed them. Unfortunantly for us the cop wasn't a fool and he searched the park when backup arrived(6 fucking cruisers!!!!). He found everything but the apple. We denied anthing was ours(except for the torch which we said was paint mix). The two friends that I walked to the park with, and I were all charged with trespassing and posession. The friend who met us there only got trespassing: I don't know why he got different from the rest of us but w/e. Anyways, the bag, which literally had no actual bud left in it (just a shit load of stems), was recovered about 5 minutes after I dropped it. It has my fingerprints all over it. I read about a few very, very complicated techniques for lifting fingerprints just from a quick google search, but I don't know if the police would use them for a little bud. Does anyone actually have any experience with fingerprints from bags? I didn't think this was going to warrant an investigation, but my parents are specifically requesting fingerprinting.
I dont think they will go as far as fingerprinting, MAYBE if it was cocain, heroin, or pcp or some shit. But not a bag of stems.
VA has some fucked up drug laws... fingerprints are really fragile. they're just oil basically, and on a plastic baggy they'll smudge and distort as the baggy does, this means that's it's a bitch. Now, they could just go with the old superglue method, it's pretty cheap and easy but since it's been a while i doubt they'll get anything useful.
Well, I promised an update so here goes: The summons's(papers calling us to court) were fake. They were given to us to try and scare one of us into a confession. In fact you can't even issue summons's to juveniles. Of course the cops didn't bother to tell anyone. My dad called the courts to try and get the fingerprints, and Lo and Behold, we weren't on the computers and they informed us about the summons's. My dad has been trying to get in touch with the arresting officer. He has called over 5 times, but the guy hasn't reponded, so I'm off without any charges(Please). P.S. My dad asked me what I took away from this whole experience and I said, "Don't stop running" and all he said was, "At least you learned something from all of this".
your dad seems cool, but i hate fucking cops that bullshit to get you to confess. I have heard of illegal things like this being done by police too often. I hate them with a passion I have for nothing else other than marijuana (in a good way for mj, of course)
yeah, my dad's alright. Right after I got caught and he blamed me for all the trouble, but as he began to find out what really went on all that fury was concentrated at the police. He wants to file a lawsuit against the officers, but I convinced him to let it alone because they can technically still file charges.
