Does anyone know where to find them in Florida... around the Daytona Beach area? I don't think they are in season right now(?), but I have a friend who would know what to look for, we just know where to look.
Thanks guys. A friend of mine said something about Pierson... I'll try that, that's a lot closer to me. But, thank you very much.
Find a cow field, bigger the better, more secluded the better. Look for ones without hay, if you see hay it's useless. Ones that have tall-ish grass that is really green usually work better, the healthier it looks/is it will hold more water=more humidity=more mushrooms Look for mushrooms with brown nipples on the top, and a purple ring on the underside. www.erowid.com they should have them on there, cubensis is what you're looking for, just look for a picture from Florida. Try the Gainesville area if you can, shitloads of cows. Good luck, and yes it is definately season, just wait for a warm night where it rains during the day or is raining etc. Pick a whole bagfull
Yeah, I've checked out Erowid before, but I'm gonna research a bit more... I've never done them. And I wasn't sure if they were in season. Thank you!
No problem. Mushrooms hunting is my favorite sport I just went to a field today actually bwahaha...we didn't find anything at first, then a colony in 1 corner
I'm in the Sarasota area right now on vacation! Any good places around there, or maybe 45 min south of there??? There's a cow farm just off of 75, maybe I'll check it out
