Hey guys... Well, its been a few weeks since Rothbury, and for some reason, I'm feeling quite down... Being at the festival, you could find anything your heart desires just by walking through the campsites... Now that I'm back to reality, I'm kinda itching to go for another trip... (not to make it a regular habbit, but just a post-roth) type of a night.. Anyhow, here is a question (and I'm sure I know the answer)... but.. Finding weed at 40 is easy... most people I know do it... and life is good (so I should not complain) - but finding anything such as mushrooms is next to imposible... even with budz, worse case senario, I know spots in Toronto where you can find weed easy... but... asside from going to "real" festivals, anyone know where one can hunt for these things during the year? I'm even thinking of hitting up the CNE, or something... but for some reason, I'm sure I won't hear people walking around saying "does, mushies, rolls, etc)... and guys.... at 40, its way tooooo weird to walk up to highschool kids and ask if anyone has mushooms So my only other delema is to shut the hell up, be happy I have budz, and stick to mushies once a year during a festival.... but if anyone has any decent advice on where these may be pleantiful... I would very much appriciate it... Peace
You should consider growing. Kits are easy, but apparently of mixed results. I would recommend a PF tek. This won't help immediately, though. Otherwise, just ask seemingly like minded people. In canada, people have usually approached me on the street, but that was Vancouver.
Hey Ahimsa, Yea, I've acctaully considered that, but sorry, forgot to metnion, we have kids in the house... They would notice (and we don't want them to know that we do)... Yea, Vancover is a different world... Toronto is quite liberal, but nothing like the west coast (from what I heard)... Plus, I belive you can find mushies growing wild in BC.... So it would definetly be more common... Anyhow, I'll just always keep my eyes open for oportunities.... One of my hookups was close to getting acid and E at one time, but desided against it (too risky he said)... oh well.... Thanks man Soc
If you can't grow mushrooms, you could extract DMT (although that might not be what you're going for) or you could get some San Pedro and extract mescaline. You don't even have to do a full extraction, just cut it up and make some tea. Other than that, find a show with a living Grateful Dead member. And stock up at your next festival.
to be honest, you should at least check out the pf tek. i have cakes growing and nobody in the house knows, im sure you could pull off one cake and nobody would know. also, 365's is on point with the mescaline, you could get a san pedro or peruvian torch cactus. both of which are legal and used to decorate yards and such... just a thought...
You could even have a huge patch of San Pedro out back (given that you live in the right climate) and your kids would never know.

I'm a bit nervous to grow... too risky for me (and w/ a teenager in the house)... but truth be told... I must admit I'm quite ticked off the last few weeks... Its just really dawned on me... I'm 40 years old... and according to the government of the free country I live in... I'm not alowed to trip, smoke doobies, or any of that dangerous stuff... but I'm allowed to drink booze... Dude, how I wish.... I caught bobby here a few years back (once @ massey hall, and once @ the docs)... a few years back we also had the cheese come through town... Phil will never play in Canada it seems... and Bobby hasn't been here for years (I check his site regulary)... Its been shitty here for shows... and our festivals do not even come close to anything I've seen in the states... you guys just know how to party better...
It probably goes without saying on this forum, but I agree. The government(s)'s stance on mind altering substances is absolutely disgusting.
Hey guys... Thanks everyone for the kind words, but most of all understanding. Its kinda Ironic - and something that I found to be true when I was a kid... (I recently remembered a saying we once had years ago)... You never will find acid... Acid only finds you... Anyhow, since starting my quest - some interesting turn of events manfested, and I may have come accross something good... Because of some life cercomstances, I ill be moving out to Alberta for a few months... and strangley enough, this puts me there during the Shambhala festival in BC (a few hours away, and no border crossing)... I figure, I would have to be the unluckiest bastard in the world not to.... Ah fuck it... time to stock up a wee bit.... oh, and hiking through the mountains... Hey, Yea, that is acctually a very good question.. I did take mushrooms at Rothbury a few weeks back... and have done them once in a blue moon over the years.... they seem to be the same always Acid I hear has changed.. and I'm wondering if I'll notice a difference... back in my days.. one tab or one blotter would give you some spins... but you would need at least 2 to trip... mdma (plan on trying at least once), I've never tried, but heard its like Acid without the weirdness... (and a lot more energy)... What is weird (but not really a psycadelic) is weed... There is such a HUGE difference between todays bud, and the brown crap with seeds we use to smoke 20 years ago... Its defenetly better.... so yea,,,, I'm curious to see if L is different too... I'll keep ya guys posted. Peace Soc
