Finally, Wife will go with me to a nude resort

We are home nudist and my wife knows I have always wanted her to go with me to a nude resort. She knows that I would not go without her. I did not want to be viewed as a single man in the resort. She is very secure in her on skin and has agreed to go. I am very happy about this. I picked a small resort that is geared to our age group(seniors).
All that said, How do I continue to make her feel comfortable about full nudity around others. She has no other women to talk to about her first time. Are there women on here that can chat in.
Any advice is appreciated.

 

Good that you picked a small resort to start off with. It's usual to be nervous about it first time. Best way to make her feel comfortable is to socialise with other nudist couples at the resort and she'll soon start to feel more relaxed about it.

There is a small resort near us, but my wife won't go. I can't go as a single male, per their rules, unless I am already a regular. My daughter wants to go, but I can't go with her, either, as a single male. So, my wife has to go with us. She has been thinking about it for a few summers, but maybe this is the summer! (Although I think all of the reservations are full already for this year.)

 

I got my wife to go to her first one by choosing a 'clothing optional' resort. I explained to her that she didn't have to get naked if she didn't want too. We checked in and I got naked right away. We walked around for about five minutes, found the beach and she was naked after only one minute on the beach. Still talks to this day about the thrill of stripping down naked in front of a small group of naked guys that were nearby and seeing them all naked and looking at her and smiling. Now she likes nudity as much or more as i do and is naked with me around the house most of the time, even with my friends that come over to visit

 

Wow you are very lucky. I really wish I could meet a woman that would share my love of being nude and would go to my nudist club or to a nude beach with me. I think if it would have worked out with the girlfriend I had back in 2004 she would probably have been more open to going because she was very confident with the way her body looked, so was I

 

I got my girlfriend to go a while back. We were already in the area and I just sprung it on her as we were driving. She agreed and actually stripped down when we got there almost immediately. I actually thought she would be more hesitant.

 

I think once you arrive at a nudist beach and see that everyone else is naked, you feel conspicuous till you get your clothes off.

As you arrive, that minute or two walking along the beach in your clothes as you find "your spot" - that can be the most nervous time as you feel like you are the only ones in the world at that moment wearing anything. It's a feeling of relief I find as you place your towels down on the beach and remove all your clothes.

 

Congratulations to the OP! I know this is an older thread but am wondering how you and your wife enjoyed your nude getaway? Hope she enjoyed it and you two are going to do more in the future.
When my wife and I started dating, we first went to Apollo Beach together. She had never been to a nude beach before, but AB was not too crowded so she was able to relax and enjoy her first experience. Luckily for me she absolutely loved it - her favorite part was taking nude walks up and down the beach. Today we consider ourselves nudists and frequently go to a local resort near where we live, and have traveled to a few other resorts as well.
Of course this year with COVID has killed any chance of nude recreation for us, and now winter is setting in. I'm hoping next year we'll be back to normal and spending plenty of time outdoors in the nude.

 

I don't know if Panama Jack is still around, but him and I have corresponded in the past and he has been to nudist resorts with his wife since his initial post.

That approach often works out very well. My wife took a little bit longer (about an hour); but after hanging out in the C/O section outside the pool area, and seeing everyone in there naked, she started rethinking staying covered up. Long story short: she decides she wants to go take a quick dip in the pool area; and as people start chatting with her, she ends up socializing nude for the rest of the day.

That's why the C/O resort might be the best best place to go for a first-time reluctant wife/GF. No pressure and friendly people make it easier to be naked in front of people for the first time.
