2 months ago my good friend finished backcombing my hair and now it's dreading nicely... I'm loving it

I've added my sisters and nieces hair to it and its all mixing nicely.

[IMG] I got my sister n niece to wrap a couple because they were warping into each other and my scalp was so sore from pulling them apart, when I unwrapped was shocked to see they had dreaded under!

[IMG] and now :) obviously the blonde isn't my hair

Doesn't it just mean including some of their hair in your dreads?

I experimented in a few ways, I dreaded their hair first... My niece cut all her hair off and my sister emptied her brush so I made cigar looking things lol then I backcombed into some thin dreads (I made some too thin and they werent knotting up) and some I did like an extension where I tried platting the last couple inches or I weaved it in and out iykwim... And I either wrapped a bit or put a clip on so itd stay there until it knotted together, really happy with the results!
