After 6 years (I left home at 15), several failed relationships, several housing situations where I was being ripped off big time, several run ins with the law and jail time, I finally, finally have a home with the friend I planned on having a place with since we were 12. It's $650.00 a month, 2 stories, with a basement, 3 bedrooms so my son can have his own room, the downstairs is gigantic and beautiful, and I have a nice backyard, although its in the ghetto of South Philly, and I am probably the only white person in a mile radius lol, even my roomate is from Taiwan so he doesnt count haha. Just wanted to make this thread becase I have been extremley poor and depressed for the past several years, and now have something to be happy about and call my own. I still have a bunch of legal issues to deal with, and I may disappear for a little while, but at least for now I am content, happy, and finally proud of myself for doing something right with my life

Thanks HCM, I thought that you would be happy to hear that Jack is in a MUCH bigger and happier place, where the weed is smoked in the basement and the other drugs are not present. His room is nice and big, and were getting the cable turned on Wedensday. I have him tonight, and nothing there for him, but Im going shopping with him after work and hes going to just have to sleep in my bed tonight. But yea, his life will be much better now, way more room and things to do, and when I meet the right girl (which I may have already done ) then we can have a nice family life there. I mean, the area is scary and I wouldnt let him outside alone EVER, but the house is nice and there are parks close by

Yes sir, it does! There are a lot of morons, especially some of the white people who live in studio apartments right smack in the center, and the visitors make my driving a major pain in the ass, but other than that it's always beem by far my favorite city. I always found myself coming back to it, no matter how far I travelled and how long I was away from home
