man i havnt been able to get any glass.. and now i can... i became friends with someone who works at a head shop, so i dont have to get carded... now im only looking to send round 15$, cause i dont invest lots of money in things that can easily break.. im thinkin a spoon or a one hitter... ne other suggestions?
Simply put, your not going to get a good quality peice for $15. It is ironic that you want to spend less to get a peice that is more likely to break when you drop it, rather than if you would spend more to get a quality peice that probably wouldn't even chip unless you threw it as hard as you could at the ground... I payed $35 (canadian) for my first glass peice 'Gaia', and I've had it for well over 2 years. Heres a pic of it. I've dropped it many times and it doesn't even have a scratch. You might as well pay the extra $30 or $40 now and save yourself the hassle later.
Yeah you can get the double blown (whatever that really means) and then the glass is thicker and less likely to break. The guy that owns the headshop near me likes to demonstrate by tossing them about 4 feet down to a hard wood floor in his shop and every time they bounce and roll around but never break. As long as you get one like that is should be good. That isnt to say that all glass pipes are that thick but some are. I would also recomend getting a case for it either hard shell or a soft-type. btw ive heard tho that u can get acrilic (sp?) for cheap and that holds up well.. ne reason y not to just go with acrilic?
They use metal bowls, which are harsh as hell. I've smoked out of almost every type of bowl: metal, wood, stone, glass. Glass beats the shit out of all of them as far as quality, taste, ect... Personally I would go with either glass or stone. I will never smoke out of a metal bowl again.
I think i'd rather eat my own feces than smoke a metal bowl. A friend of mine got a NICE, THICK quality piece at a shop up my way for around 35 bucks. First day he got it, came over to my house, and got out of his car with it still in his lap and dropped it right onto the ground outta his jeep, and it was still in tact. Thats the kinda shit you are going to get when you're willing to drop an extra dollar or two. Just remember the saying, you get what you pay for...
Yean man, if you're looking for a glass pipe, you probably won't be able to find one for $15. Even if you do, it's gonna be thin and it WILL break the first time you drop it. You're gonna want to spend at the very least twice that.
all you can really get for 15 is like a glass one hitter, or a spoon that'll be about as durable as a half inch piece of ice
Pretty much. I'm telling you man, if you want good glass you're gonna have to shell out some more greenbacks. Any glass you get for $15 isn't going to be worth it. You're just gonna have to trust me on this one.
ok, the benefit of buying a quality glass pipe far outweighs the continued cost of continually buying weed in all areas
