Any of you dreadies enjoy music festivals? You planning on attending any this summer? if so which ones?! =] I just got my tickets for the Harmony and Kate Wolf. Id like to go to earthdance this year. I loooooove festies!

not many real festivals in mexico there are many one day "festivals" but they are usually mostly mainstream mexican bands which I do not enjoy, last good festival I went was corona music fest, vive latino is one of the great festivals here but there are only about two bands id like to watch so no. best fesival Ive benn to though must have been the ruisrock las summer in finland since I got to see flogging molly
there's some badass festivals in austin...ACL and hempfest and whatnot... ACL is usually around fall i think (dont quote me)....and hempfest i think i already missed... hempfest and waterfront blues fest so far! Mandy what was that one you wanted to go to up here in OR. I think it was a fairyfest. I want to go to that one!!
im going to territory days, pride parade, maybe mile high festivile, resisance, and alotta concerts/shows
preffer gatherings over fests ..just dont like bein round the drunkeness although some fests are cooler then others but gatherings beat em all
I'm going to Rothbury this year! I went last year too. I actually live about an hour away from it and last year I got a free ticket because I signed up to work, and then only had to work 3 hours the lineup is so out of this world this year I cannot wait I'm also going to see Xavier Rudd in July in Toronto.
The lineup makes me want to cry. We live far away so need to work out many things before it happens, but have already found a babysitter for my children... but unless we move, this will involve us all flying likely. :S But soooooo wanna go!
well if you fly into Grand Rapids (the nearest airport) I can come pick you up! I live 15 minutes from there! ps Umphrey's McGee is going to be playing too, they haven't announced it yet, but I know someone on the inside
god im so drunk...what's wrong with that? oh ya...some people get stupid and violent when they're drunk..... *occasionally* i get really irritable, but mostly i just get clumsy and kinda loud and a lil obnoxious :tongue:

yay Shambhala!!!! also going to Winnipeg Folk Fest (AMAZING lineup!) that's about all I can do this year, but I LOVE Burning Man, and would love to hit Eclipse, Space Gathering, Earthdance, Salmon Arm Roots and Blues, and about a million others...
I did wanna go to Bonnaroo again this year, been twice before, but wold cost atleast $1000 to get there, Been to Reading loads of times and Glastonbury but they've all gone rubbish so don't do UK festies anymore
been too two so far this year Big Day Out and Soundwave Both have 40+ bands. They are pretty good with well known bands. Prodidgy, Pendulum, LoG, Devil Driver, Nine Inch Nails blah blah blah. Still yet to produce anything incredible in the metal area though
