its about time for me to get my kitty spayed so i went to satelite city hall to get this certificate that is required and it cost $50!!! also, it only lasts for 3 months. so now i have to take her to the vet to get a $20 required vaccination and then make another trip for her to get spayed for $35 which includes her overnight stay. so in total, it costs about $100 to get a female cat spayed, something that our state (hawaii) really encourages everyone to do. i think that $50 certificate should be lowered to about oh....$10!
sorry, just had to vent. but its all ok because i love my kitty and i want her to be healthy :)

you know, i'm not even sure. it says something like "this certificate is good for one sterilization..." and it has like the city hall stamp and the humane society stamp on it. and apparently the vet requires it and then you get sort of cheaper prices on the vaccination and sterilization i think.
