I fell asleep in study hall, and I should have logged my dream but I woke up when the bell rang to end the class. Heres the best I can remember: I was sitting in Spanish class (I'm not even in Spanish), and I can remember my teacher putting in a tape with the Dr. Gonzo character from Fear and Loating. It was being projected out of one of those older tape machines, and the lights were off. It started off with one of those announcer type voices saying "Cultural Media presents.." Thats all I remember of the voices. It showed Dr. Gonzo (Not really his name, don't think he had one) picking cacti in the desert (possibly for the drug?), and then I woke up. That was one of the weirdest dreams I have had in awhile, so could someone explain if it means anything at all? Thanks.
It probably doesn't mean anything, just random thoughts, perhaps unconsciously perceived, being flushed out of your mind. Since you were asleep in class you have no way of knowing what was said. But your unconscious may have heard what was being said and your mind constructed images to match them, therefore the dream. Dismiss it.
I've been reading the book, but Gonzo doesn't pick any plants, does he? Yeah, it was probably just me picking up sounds. Also, is this lucid dreaming? Before I woke up, I remember thinking "I'm dreaming" or something. If it is, I experience that a lot, but I always wake up before anything happens.
lucid dreaming is being fully aware that you are in a dream state. if you said your dreaming, you should have followed that by some action to realize entirely that you are dreaming. some people can come to realize they are dreaming, like you may, and say "hey im dreaming" but the dream covers it up with something odd and the dream either continues or ends. but weird ass dream you had,haa
Man that sounds so bizarre, is keeping a dream journal the only way to lucid dream? Also, when you lucid dream, can you manipulate it and do whatever you want?
