Feet on the dash

One of my favorite things about summer has to be the phenomenon whereby some folks (mostly women although I have seen a few guys partaking as well) decide to put their bare feet up on the dashboard or out of the window. While I suppose there's a great deal of room for debate about its safety while traveling on the freeway at 65 MPH, I have to admit that seeing feet propped up in a car is just of those things I greatly admire and can always draw my attention. Anyone else enjoy seeing this display? It seems as though its becoming more commonplace as I often get a glimpse of at least one pair of feet while commuting to and from work.

I like the visual of this so much that I decided to get some pics of my own feet up on the dash. I would love to see everyone post pics of your own feet propped up on the dash or out of the car window, so feel free to take some and share with the group!

 

the idea of someone hitting u head on and having ur legs prob ripped out of the socket in the hips and hitting ur kness on ur head sounds good lol

this was my train of thought, i sed what nice feet (i dont usually comment on feet) and then i scrolled down and i saw leg hair and i sed this isnt a girl. then i went to the left of the screen and it was affirmative. lol

 

I like feet on the dash, but I perfer looking at female feet.

 

I usually find barefeet up on dashes when I'm driving a major interstate. It's often out of state vehicles that the passengers are in for the long haul, riding for a considerable distance. Generally the ladies get comfortable by kicking off the shoes, propping their feet on the dash, then relax and enjoy the scenery.

Sometimes I also find "dashboard feet" in the city, but regardless of where it is, it's always nice to see.

 

The only way I can get comfortable in a long car trip is to stick my foot out the window....As evidenced by my trip to the ocean

 

Feet are nice - as are all parts of the body - what a wonderful thing it is

 

I love propping my feet up on the mirror on the highway, but who ever is driving usually gets mad and makes me pull them in, out of fear of unwanted attention from a smokey.

 

I always prop my feet on the dash when I'm a passenger. Maybe I'll post a piccie of my boring feet, though I'm not I guess a barefooter, I do go barefoot a lot.

 

Matthew, those are about the cleanest feet I think I've ever seen. Did you just get out of the shower?

Anyway, I agree with you. I love to see bare feet propped up on the dash or out the window. It's a rare sight around here. I quite often have one bare foot on the dash if I'm on the passenger side. Sorry, don't have any pics at the moment, but I'll see what I can do.

 

Yeah I used to have a lot of trouble with ragged skin on my cuticles, and I use an oil with vitamin E to help keep the skin around my nails from getting overdry. This results in my nails looking shiny though. I'm just used to it now. But I always get comments like yours: "You have nice feet...for a guy." It's funny, but also kind of a downer that people think only women are supposed to take good care of their feet.

Actually those pictures were taken at about lunch time so no I hadn't just got out of the shower. I usually don't get very dirty (which my wife is eternally grateful for) unless I'm running around where there's a lot of dry earth kicked up in the wind or something.

 

I love driving with my foot out the window...feels so good!

Yeah I think because to me, it makes me feel like the woman is relaxed and at ease enough with her feet that she doesn't mind putting them up for everyone to see. A lot of women I know are really quite shy about their feet, sadly. My wife will slip off her sandals in the car but I don't think she'd be caught dead putting them up in the car because she's so self-conscious about them. So when I see a nice pair of feet so on display on the dashboard or out of the window, that just instantly gets my attention.

 

Sadly enough my fiance passanger side window doesn't go down so I can't put my feet out. But I do put them on the dash board all the time. I would stick them out when I'm with my mom in her car but she'll freak about her hair being messed up. You know what's it's like to drive in a car in Texas, middle of summer, without air conditioner, and you can't open the windows cause your mom will go on about how her hair is all messed up, when in fact it's not? Let me tell you it's not pleasant. Thankfully now she allows people to crack the window a little.

 

My travels often had me driving the Ohio Turnpike and often during those long trips my stomach would tell me "feed me, feed me". I was about to get off and grab a bite to eat when I happend to notice a car approaching to my left. Inside were two college age girls, the passenger had her bare soles pressed against the windshield! I thought WOW! and at the same time keeping my van in control. Let me tell you I forgot all about the fact that I was hungry and kept up the pace with the other car while making quick gawks at those sexy soles!

Not too long after that, she girl finally put her feet down and I kept that pledge to my stomach and got a bite to eat. Ahhh, the things I can forgo when I see college girl feet up on a dashboard!!

 

Yeah, I've also gone out of my way to follow feet up on the dashboard/out the window as well. Just this afternoon as I was driving from Car Toys a college age girl had one foot propped over the side mirror. One funny thing I seem to find is that whenever I see feet propped up in a car like this, the driver is either going really fast or really slow, making it difficult to catch a good glimpse.

 

my kid in summertime always has his bf either on the dash or out the window-i would too, but i'm usually driving and that makes it difficult...
