Fed up with the U.S.

Is anyone else fed up with the United States right now? I'm thinking about leaving the country for somewhere better, maybe Australia, or New Zealand. How liberal are these countries?

 

Is it just me, or does "Hippyman" look a lot like me?

The U.S.A I grew up in is gone. I too am thinking of leaving. I'm thinking about Costa Rica or Goa, India. Sorry, can't help with the Australia or New Zealand question. But they are interesting, think I'll look into them too.

I travelled a lot through Western and Eastern Europe and met quite a few Aussies and Kiwis. Great people, but I think that the prevailing parties in power at least in Australia (linked economically and politically to the UK) for sure are of the same political and foreign policy persuasions as our leaders in the USA. You may be better off in some of the liberal European nations or in third world, somewhere. I love America so much it pains me to see where it has gone.
Come on people, its not too late to try to enact change....I refuse to give in to the globalist scumsuckers.
Live free or die....too many people have forgotten the true sacrifices of those before us who did want to spread democracy to the oppressed of the world. We have twisted our nation's ideals to fit the agenda of a few wealthy elites who run things through a coporatocracy.

 

fuck yea. i can't stop thinking about this lately. i'm in a state of unrest. and i wish all the people that felt this way started acknowledging it more so we could do something about it!

 

The question that I have is “why are you fed up with the U.S.?

I am unhappy with my country, but I don’t think that I’ll be leaving. There are too many people out there that hate Americans. Hatred well deserved if you ask me. America is a ‘super bully’!

What really pisses me off is the way Americans believe that they can solve the world’s problems. Yet our own problems are ignored. Hey, if you can’t fix things in your own back yard what makes you that you can fix the same problems across the street.

Another thing I would like to know is…..why is the American flag made in china? Countries should make their own flags, or am I the only one that thinks this way?

I’m going to stop now or I’ll be bitching about the U.S. all day.

 

What really pisses me off is the way Americans born with every possible oppertunity show such disloyality and disrespect for what others have fought for so long to preserve. If you are in the majority in your opinion make a difference politically. If you are not in a majority in you opinions don't act like the sacrafices made mean nothing.

I've always wanted to live in NZ and found out that it's very difficult to get citizenship there. YOu have to prove that you can have a good job with a good income...then only after doing that for a few years will you be able to gain citizenship. They are very strict on immigration.

i honnestly was scared shitless when bush stole the 1st election & i wanted to escape to belize or costa rica
but for some reason i stayed
i was avctualy on a plane to canada when they announced he won the second time
& for some reason i came back

i guess cause i dont recognize any government as being representative of that place..meanning that the government being fucked up doesnt have to make the place a bad place to be

 

I don't think a third-world country is the answer...

Those countries often have the WORST government corruption...worse than the US, in my opinion.

The world has become almost one network...everything is connected to everything else...and with the internet...it has become even worse...there's really no escape from it, in my opinion...unless you find some deserted island that hasn't been discovered yet...you're pretty much at the mercy of a fucked up government.

then tryto pick up the peices afterwards, learn from the mistakes & start over from scratch

 

Pretty much...and even then, no system is perfect...and it's all subjective...some people want lots of security...some don't...so a lot of how "good" or "effective" a government is...is opinion.

 

I have offten thought of trying to start my own country. The only way that I could come up with for keeping the world a peacefull place where it can reflect the needs of the people would be to break it up into alot of small comunities. unfortunatly this would cut back on a lot of technological advancements and may just serve as to isolate people untill the comunity grows large enough to actualy envelepe other ones growing into large countries again, but I am just getting off subject here. anyways I have much thought about the issue and still haven't come to any conclusive results.

 

many many countries are exactly like that. its not easy to get in anywhere these days really. you should check the requirement for getting into france...woooooohhhhh.

 

do you think it would be possible to take a piece of land in the U.S. and declare independance, making your own country. Hell that was how America was founded. Eh...It wouldn't work, or would it?

 

Oh, and the lady that taught substance abuse classes I had to go to was Australian. She told me that I would love it there, said that it is a lot like America during the 70's.

This is actually very possible. Since I live so Close to Michigian, I hear alot about this. All you need is a group of people, who can worktogether to buy up some land in Michigian. Property is very cheap in Michigian, alot are selling, and NO ONE is buying.

I mean hell, Dearborn has almost done exactly this.

If you could buy up enugh land, and have enough people under you, or with you, you could declare indpendence. What would the U.S do? Go to War with you? I think Not. Even if they tried, every other nation in the world would get involved then.


But this should be a last resort. We as American's need to wake up and realize, that it's not just our government. There are people among us and out there who WANT to bring DOOMSDAY upon us. Amhimajahd, is a prime example. He has an Apocalyptic outlook on life, and if he get control of Iran. It really wont matter then, cause America wont last though the night. Just watch. Soon, many Muslim american's will disapear, straight up and vanish. When this happen's you will know that the End for America is soon upon us.

We just all need to wake up and realize, what is going on around us. our Economy is almost perfect, and the economy really wont mean much if there isnt an America to support it. We need to put the small shit aside right now, and look at the big picture.

There are people out there who want us dead. I am not talking about 100,000 dead over a course. I am talking about 200 Million Plus American's gone within seconds. The day after, I will really be surprised if there is even 100,000 American's alive after they attack next time.

 

Har har har. They would say - no, you're not an independent nation. Then they would say, "you owe us property taxes on that property you bought, since it's in our jurisdiction". Then when you say "we're not paying, we're an independent nation!" they will summarily throw all of your asses in jail. And if you resisted that, yes, they would use necessary force to subdue/detain you. Would make an interesting bit of news though.

As far as "every other nation in the world" getting involved - why would they be leaping to the aid of a small group of idiotic tax evaders in some foreign country exactly? To be champions of the little man, fighting against the big bad nasty government? Uh-huuuuuh......

An acid trip can be an interesting experience but please don't hurt yourself buddy.
