Here be the 1st poem to be followed by others later.

I saw a cadaverous girl on the corner today,
She cut her wrists to make the pain go away.
I looked into her deep, faded eyes,
And all I could do was sigh.
She was epitome of feminine grace.
Her body clothed in silk and lace.
Her face pale and delicate like a rose.
From her sunken cheeks, to her skinny nose.
I wish I had helped her, or changed the past.
I knew her all my life, but our friendship did not last.
If only I had not had to see her every day.
Maybe if I was able to keep my feelings of hate at bay.
If only I had thought about everything about her that was great.
Maybe I would've done something to change her fate.
Death now creeps up on her though.
It seems the blood can't keep up it's flow.
It's a shame I now love her madly though.
I want one more look at her face.
So I hold up my mirror and look at my face.
And think to myself, this is what it's like when love and death embrace.
Finally the world goes dark, as the blood flows down my silk and lace.

This is probably more or less the 1st poem I ever wrote, back when I only had like 3 Floyd albums too, but I knew the names of the other albums and I felt I had to write a tribute to a band I already loved so much, so enjoy(see if you can spot the references to a Floyd album)

More and more, the sun is obscured by clouds,
as the piper lets loose his saucerful of secrets.
We then take our psychic trip to the dark side of the moon
There's a lapse of reason and nothing seems right to us no more.
As we wander our universe, wishing not to be there but here.

"Be free!" they shouted as the bell tolls for our final cut of our life seems near.
But the echoes of that voice fly off into the distance,
where it becomes an ancient relic burried by the wind of gaia.

Toward the end of time, when life and soul have left our home.
We'll all look to space and wonder of what happend to that time.
When that crazy diamond shined, and the dictator took over to excuse the loyal piper
    Good-bye to the aging madcap
    Good-bye to flying pigs
    Good-bye to the unforgotten heroes,
Who were dragged down by the stone.

(Well some of that is pretty vague and might seem to make no sense, but actually the 1st part is being back in the 60's/70's, time when all that music was being made, and some teens under the influence of certain illegal substances, then it goes to the end of life while looking back on that time period)
