Favourite High Types

Not sure if this has been brought up before, but ... as most of you know, weed is priced by potency. As far as I can tell, shwag's at the lowest, beaten by mids, then pre-nug/nug (aka bud), and from then on up, most of the more potent weed strains have names (Power Plant 5, Skunk, etc.). Many of them are just area-specific things (i.e. if I asked someone from California what Power Plant 5 was, they might not be able to tell me, because of the locale. But even higher up on the chain than those are the "legendary" type of weed strains like White Widow/Rhino, Purple Haze, Northern Lights, AK-47, etc.

As the cost increases, so does the potency. However, I've noticed that there are different "types" of highs ... some are soothing and relaxing, where you can just go and hug people, and some are spontaneous, with constant laughing, and others make it seem almost like you're hallucinating (usually when you smoke a LOT of the lower-potency stuff).

So what are your favourite strains of weed / types of highs?

 

100% Sativa strains.

 

Well that statement was a bit pointless, wasn't it?

All strains of cannibus sativa are 100% sativa. Just saying "I like all weed," as true as that may be, doesn't tell me your favourite.

Well my favorite high's are the one where i get all these tinglely sparkly feeling in my head and the sounds are super clear with mild visuals ,every things flows.
I also like those silly giggle ones too or the down sleepys but my fav's happen only when im smoking blueberryX. Thats one of my favorite things about weed, its the different strain amd highs you can get from each type.

actually youll find: you are wrong.

most weed is in fact indica. and msot sativa strains are mixed. 100% sativa strains are actually of the minority of weed. some poeple dont like it as much, usually dumber people (but not always of course), because it is much more energetic and thoughtful, than indica stone

i much prefer full sativa too, full indica is jsut a bit boring, i can drink alcohol to mellow out too lol.

 

Ah, my apologies then to Stalkz and StonerBill, I wasn't aware that most weeds are indica. I'll have to get my hands on a 100% sativa strain to try it for myself. <- admits to being a n00b. :&

 

I just like being high.

 

Medical marijuana dispeneries in the Bay Area (CA) have lists of the strains that are most effective for different simptoms.

 

Good luck. Took me a long time to find a dealer who feels the same as me about it.

 

AK is the best weed, gives you a high like no other

 

We should start making a big list of strains and the types of high that you get from them. It would be nice to be able to pick out exactly the high you want for different occasions. My personal favorite are the super stoned and relaxed highs where everything just mellows out and feels good.

 

Herbman, that actually sounds like a really great idea. =) We should start a topic where people can list the things they've tried and describe what they like; then, perhaps we can take what people have said (and what we have experienced) and turn it into a categorized list or something.

 

that would prolyl ahve to go in growers section tho caus most ppl who buy dont know what strain theyre getting... ill ask next time i pickup tho.

 

uhhh i just got a fat hook up on some real humboldt kush and this stuff rocks. it's the kinda ganja you take 3 huge rips real fast and feel absolutly normal then 5 minutes later it just hits you and you can't even walk straight and even think straight.

i like that kind of high. i also notice a good northern lights will give me the same kind of high as that humboldt kush.

I like being stooooooooooned.
Clearer highs are nice for when i want to mess around with my guitar and not suck as bad as is humanly possible or talk with people who aren't high.

one of these days I'm gonna lay my hands on some good indica (not so hard) and some opium (really damn hard) and learn what stoned really means.
