i've been drinking Kicking Horse lately - really like the Three Sisters (medium roast) and Grizzly Claw (dark roast). it's organic and fair trade, roasted in Canada. what do you guys like?
I drink Community or Rouse's, both are made in Louisiana. The Folger's plant is about a mile from my house, and when the wind comes from the East I can smell them roasting the coffee.
Counter Culture, as far as off the shelf stuff. It's hard to beat a nice cup of java from a legit restaurant though.
hi,my name is puffed and im addicted to coffee. Im super picky about my coffee.I have a wicked hard time getting home brew to taste good no matter who made it.
use independent roasting company's coffee beans right now it's Ozo out of Boulder, CO - usually a guatemala blend
i remember dunking ginger snaps in coffee with my grandpa when i was like 7yo... i loved it.. now i can't stand coffee.. gimme cream and sugar with a splash of coffee plz
This... I use 8 o'clock beans-- got a grinder right on the coffeemaker- the noise wakes me up- and the caffeine reinforces it.
^^^ I always wondered if there was such a thing as a "quite coffee grinder" but now there seems to be purpose behind the noise
i'm not really a coffee drinker.. but when i do drink it i like it to be like candy. my favorite coffee right now is starbuck's (yes, i know :frown: ) salted carmelized mocha frap.. taste like chocolate cap'n crunch! :drool5:
The grinder adjoins the filter basket- same air space which seems to make a critical difference with the flavor. For a while I had used a spice grinder and stored measured amounts to be brewed (turned off the grinder) and it didn't taste quite the same as when it is freshly ground and immediately brewed. It's well worth the extra cleaning involved,.. and noise.
i use me keurig machine and i usually buy the donut house chocolate glazed donut k cups taste like someone dropped a chocloate donut in the coffee or i use the cinnamon roll flavored ones
now i'm not a super duper, coffee taste guru guy - i drink espresso and milk, but i think starbucks is quite silly. to pay somebody 5 bucks so they can press a button and put whipped cream on a cup is not something i want to promote, when there are real baristas with real world knowledge about coffee that can tell me a bunch of nonsense that doesn't make a whole lot of difference to my coffee enjoyment for the same price. it's great! i also drink espresso at home - i think it's a krups machine...but i'll also drink drip
Nice that's not a bad type of factory to live near...I went to PEI a few summers ago and there was a potato processing plant where they made fries and it smelled terrible!
I Buy from a local seller. Their product doesn't leave 100 miles from where they roast the beans so none of you have heard it. Its good stuff though. I drank folgers for a little while and fresh roasted is nothing compared to shelf brands.
Green Mountain is pretty good. I get a different one every time except for the flavors mostly. Target has some quality coffees under the name Archer Farms.
there is a meat processing plant here, down the street from a cookie factory. our old warehouse was right between them... depending on which way the wind was blowing, it either smelt amazing or absolutely horrible.
