I love a nicely grilled steak. In fact, for dinner on 5 of the last 7 nights I have eaten steak. So I was wondering, what are your favorite cuts? I personally love a nice, lean tenderloin, but I also love the flavor of a beautifully marbled Delmonico or NY strip steak. And of course being grass-fed beef is a must.
I think tenderloin is the only thing I could eat without being grossed out, but I haven't had steak in a very long time.
I assume you use Google Translate then? It should actually translate to something like "bullet steak".
Tenderloin is of course, wildly agree to be the best. I myself have always like the T-bone though, which is a bit of tenderloin and a bit of strip steak. I think it's partially the visceral pleasure of biting into bone.
When in argentina, a place that knows a thing or two about beef. I ate many times the full asado meal which is when you eat all the different cuts of the cow, starting with the cheapest and ending with the best. There's a cut of beef call marucha, that they leave untill the end. It is the best part hands down.
I love a good steak but I also detest fat so I tend to go with very lean beef and it has to be cooked to medium rare. Most flavour and tenderness. I prefer a Chateaubriand, Fillet Mignon or a Sirloin Tip.
I don't like whole steak, it kills my guts. I have a meat grinder attachment for my mixer, and we grind our own when roasts are on sale. Pork, too. Pork burgers are awesome.
The eye of tenderloin (or Filet Mignon), followed by Chuck eye and Eye of Round. I always cook steak and eat it alone with a small cup of barbecue (of countless varieties depending on my mood, but find myself most often desiring it mixed with vidalia onion petals) on the side to dip it in; the only thing I'm interested in preparing it with are potatoes.
