Huber Park. It's the main city park in Borger, a town about 15 miles from here. They used to have an amusement park long long ago when I was a little kid and I used to go and ride the carousel. Since then the amusement rides were all sold off and that section was turned into a free RV park. But it's such a pretty park and it's huuuuge. We used to live within walking distance of it when I was little and my next door neighbor founded two bird sanctuaries there. There's a stream going through one of them and it has turtles. It's really pretty. One day I'll have to go and take pictures and show it off.
i couldn't possibly choose one. cedar point is clearly the best amusement park. oak openings is the best metropark around here, although i've seen better metroparks in both the cleveland and youngstown areas. marsh field was my favorite of the parks i used to work at, although clark park had a certain charm as it had been a corn field just a couple years before and we were on the cutting edge of making it into a fun place. i can't even pick a state/national park, as i've yet to fully explore one, and every one that i have spent any time at was infinitely better than pretty much any other place i've ever been. i guess my number one choice would have to be the multi-story car park on staunton island, liberty city. i've sniped soooo many jamaicans from the top of that thing.
grew up 30 minutes away. the place is painfully expensive, but i made it up there about once every two years or so.
I liked Yosemite. It was very pretty but people from all over were yelling at me in different languages and it was very confusing
Ooh if national parks count... Yellowstone of course or Cedar Breaks http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cedar_Breaks
I like yellow stone. but i think my favorite is Glacier so far. It was the funnest. I got to run through the forest and in the waters and just be crazy free and feel like an animal. it was fun. Oh! so was sequoia park. I felt like i was in prehistoric times when i was there.
