Sorry if this has been mentioned before.

Mine is Blade Runner, by Vangelis Papathanasiou! And my favorite piece, Wait for Me, is not even in the film.

Once Upon a Time in the West (any of Morricone's westerns are great...but this is my favorite), Harold & Maude, Rushmore, and Magnolia are also some of my favorites

About threads that have been posted before.. it's okay as long as there isn't a duplicate or very similar thread on the first 5 pages.

Agreed. I also like many of the James Bond themes and the Shirley Bassey songs for JB movies. Not so keen on some of the other songs for JB movies though.
Another favourite soundtrack for me is Ryan's Daughter. An average plot, actually two movie stories rolled into one with good acting and some of the most spectacular scenery ever filmed.

Don't make fun of me, I'm really not a big music person, but my favorite movie soundtrack is the Nightmare Before Christmas soundtrack. :)

That, and Pirates of the Caribbean soundtrack.

Pulp Fiction- Excellent soundtrack, but most of Tarantino's film have great music.

The Rocky Horror Picture Show- I don't know if this counts since it is a musical, but all around, it's fantastic.

Disney's Winnie the Pooh- I know every lyric to every song. I don't know why, but I just can't get enough.

The Virgin Suicides- Much of the score was done by Air. I didn't even know who they were before seeing this movie, and now I'm probably one of their biggest fans. But even the songs not by Air on that soundtrack are great.

Nightmare Before Christmas AND/OR Any Tim Burton movie- Danny Elfman has a way with music.

"Paris, Texas" from Ry Cooder mainly.
"Dead Man" soundtrack by Neil Young.
From memory "Vanilla Sky" had a fairly good soundtrack too, opening with a nice Radiohead track.
