Love the ending scene with the guy jumping over the car from the explosion.

 

This is the intro to the TV Show 'Please Stand By"

Just before the show was first aired the name was changed to "The Outer Limits" out of fear people might confuse the intro with "The Emergency Broadcast System"

The early 1960s was the height of the cold war and the show was terrifying enough without reminding people of the current state of the world

Music by Guns and Roses “Welcome to the Jungle” - was quite fitting to the opening scene

 

One things for sure the song 'Lean on Me' by Bill Withers would have been completely inappropriate for the intro.....lol..

I've never watched that show, not even once beyond channel surfing.

 

I unfortunately had to watch it at grandmas house with my aunts when they were young. Because of the program scheduling, It was this show and “Hee-Haw” that caused me to miss many episodes of the “6 Million Dollar Man”
I actually hated the show but like the intro music.

 

Yellowstone. I love the setting of the Montana mountains.
