I never watched anything on PBS as a kid...except for Monty Python's Flying Circus. Initially...I was mostly watching it for the occasional boobs and ass (unfortunately a bit of guy-butt, too)...but then I began to appreciate the humor.

If that's the case then you must have watched at least some Benny Hill on PBS...lol...

I'm not certain if the OP was asking for the intro to your fav shows or movies, or your fav intros...regardless of your feelings about the show or movie. I took it as the latter.

I ADORE the theme of the opening and closing credits to the old Casino Royale. And, every bit of music during the movie. Here's the opening music...

And here's the closing. I've included it, because it uses the lyrics, which are really cool...*I* think!

Even though I just stipulated that I was looking at this thread as favorite intros to movies/shows...it happens that I also LOVE this movie. It is so quintessentially 1960's "cool"...and includes a bevy of gorgeous women! Daliah Lavi (gahhh...I was SO in lust with her!), Ursula Andress, Barbara Bouchet (sexiest Moneypenny *ever*!) and a very young Jacqueline Bisset (Jacky Bisset, in these credits)...as well as dozens of other sexy young ladies. Also...what a cast! David Niven, Orson Welles, Peter Sellers, Deborah Kerr, Woody Allen, William Holden, Charles Boyer, John Huston, and a cameo by George Raft! While it loosely follows the original Ian Fleming plot, it has some pretty silly deviations and plot turns, it barely has any logic at all to the sequence of events. Still...I LOVE it!

Yes, I definitely watched Benny Hill. However...I don't recall it as being on PBS? I'm not saying it never was...but I don't *think* that's where I watched it. I just looked it up, and I didn't see any mention of PBS. Wherever it aired, I think that it was quite a few years after Monty Python on PBS, at least in the area where I grew up. I imagine different areas of the U.S. were viewing it at different times...both Python and Hill.

I want to say the Benny Hill Show came on PBS, can’t remember exactly. But that was funny and sexy and I enjoyed every bit of it as a very young kid:D

John Carpenter went through a lot to this one to the big screen. It wasn’t considered scary until he developed the music score for this movie- it made a big difference. You could use this music with any horror movie and it will be scary as hell!
