Who do you think is/are a very interesting person(s) who you would probably like to have a few beers with? . . . . . . . Dimclaimer: Prior to anything, I do not intend for this thread to become a flame war.
Yourself, I always like to talking to you because you remind me of myself in lots of ways, the music you like, the approach to opiates and mathematics/spirituality. Autentique, because she is my wife lol and the soon to be mother of my second child. ol13points in ya neck, because I've known that kid since I was 13 and tripped, traveled, and lived with him in some pretty insane situations that most people probably wouldnt even believe  StayLoose because I've tripped with him and dude is nothing short of a geinus. Prismatism because she is a fucking goddess and is younger than most of us, yet a billion times more intelligent and poetic than most of us combined. Neodude, because kid loves God like no other. Psygrunge because of his straight up, no bullshit approach to discussing drugs. Stalk because the kid is in tune with some kind of geometic black hole of divine magnetism. Salmon, Shocbomb, sw0o0sh, Shapeshifter, rygoody, StonerBill, burnabowl, Kizen, mariecstasy, PB Smith, and all the regulars I really enjoy everyone's presence here who has anything positive to add. I love reading about everyone's different perspectives and hearing the insights they so enthusiastically share with all of us for such pure and beautiful reasons. Even that cat 3xi, who I vehemently disagree with and argue with nearly everytime he posts here, I consider to be a great member and appreciate his willingness to share, no matter what I think of his opinion. Really we are a giant family tapping into consciousness collectively and reassuring each other that there is a profound meaning to all of this and our approaches to life, and I thank every one of you for being here with us. I am very happy to moderate the forums, even if at times it gets ugly and I have to butt heads with a member who I otherwise enjoy greatly. God bless all you cats and stay high
haha great post. Mine are you Relayer, Versimilitude (even though he hasnt been on in like months ), Oxyrisin, Shocbomb, and Burnabowl. Those are the cool peeps I've known since I joined. Shapeshifter is a crazy mofo, probably the most spiritual individual on these forums, and prismatism too. my other fav. members are TopNotchStoner, St. Stephen (i'd like to meet em, he's young but smart n funny), beatnick, does2, navajas, Euphorial, Sam&ella (funny ass dude, but sometimes too sarcastic), u4ia, patHAOomg, and a couple more.. but Im fried right now haha
i'm pretty new to hipforums, but from reading through the posts and chippin in my 2c as and when its not completley over my head, i think i wouldnt mind have a few beers with stalk, relayer, neodude, snocbor and psygrunge im sure everyone else too.
I like drinking with almost anyone that is interested in psychedelics. The most wonderful conversations always arise from these situations. If anyone's ever in the bay area, CA, hit me up
Yeah, stalk is a cool kid and has a cool type of sprituality, but it's pseudoparanormal. He cant really factually discuss mathematics/geometry and electromagnetic and black hole gravitational forces to make unified field theories like I can. His are more, I guess how you said, "divine" or what they call it in the forums where I discuss real science, paranormal or pseudoscience.
I dabbled in science...I dropped out of high school when I read A brief history of time by hawking ('cause it opened my eyes up to a reality beyond society's programming)...was obsessed with physics for a few years...but I let it go. I don't need that kind of abstract rationalization in my life, anymore.
I cant live without that kind of abstract realization in my life. The passions in my life are knowledge, wisdom, and understanding. and understanding mathematical truth and physical reality of the universe are fundamental.
Well, in reality, mathematics is just a language, a way of being able to break down a thing and understand it. But it's only one language, ya know? And so it's not the only way to understand Nature. There are many ways of breaking things down, mathematics is just the easiest to understand, the least abstract (in my opinion), and the most tangible. It can be readily explained to people from every civilized country because we've made it universal. But the approach I take combines both maths and mysticism. The spiritual people and the particle physicists are out to explain the same things, and as more time goes by and we look at the culmination of wisdom throughout our history, we begin to see that the two approaches have always gone hand in hand and point to the same means. Basically, we cant have one without the other. I mean look at sacred geometry for just one example. And if anything, I would say that maths prove the existence of God, because since it can be observed and accounted for in every facet of reality, it makes the proof that we are programmed. Our entire reality is a program being acted out, wether it is like a computer program (entirely controlled to the most subtle detail) or a television program (where we are the actors in the background in the scenes, unaware of being filmed) makes no differene because we can see that there is a script we are following. So, math attempts to dig out that endless stream of numbers and figure out how it works, and spirituality attempts to dig out that endless stream of numbers and figure out why it works. Both want to know what started the whole deal, but that much is not important to me, because we will never know. Physics are for the most part beautiful, but as is shown repeatedly, the most beautiful equations are usually the wrong, or incomplete, equations. That means that we are trying to make sense of our Universe but also we want it to be beautiful in its mechanics, but so far can not make it so. God is a weird mofugger, bending strings and making cosmic reeds dance in the wind.
I kinda have to disagree, and go with Galileo's quote: Both paths must be taken, atleast until with have a mathematical theory that describes cognative emergence and consciousness. But ultimately, yes, one must undergo both scientific and spiritual research to fully understand the universe and life.
I understand that, but mathematical langauge is just a physical representation of form, and we can not yet prove how matter gains mass. There is a theory, of course, but it has yet to be proven to be true. Energy retains mass as well as matter. That which we perceive to be the fundamentala principles of reality are not triangles, circles, and geometrical figures, they are (supposedly) free flowing, ever changing, every vibrating strands which bend to the will of an unobservable force (thus, my saying Cosmic Reeds). The Universes code is not written in a mathematical language alone, that is only the langauge that we have yet been able to prove exists enough in order to begin breaking down. But we are barely scratching the surface. Like I said kil0, maths only attempt to prove how things are being operated, and not why. Maths will never be able to explain why, because they are only concerned with that which is tangible, wether in a physical, mental, or metaphysical sense. Even with the boldest attempt in human history to use physical particles in order to recreate our infant Creation, the LHC with it's soon to be experiment, is only (supposedly) going to be able to recreate the conditions in which the Universe existed fractions of a second after the initial Big Bang took place. We can not generate the energy required to create our own Universe because it's impossible. So, even if all of the theories out there come together in the culmination of a Unified Field Theory and prove that the Big Bang took place, and this is how everything works, we still will not know why it happened, we will only know how it happened, and only up to that pinpoint. But what about before that? Where did this force come from? Where or why did electromagnetism, strong and weak nuclear force, and gravity take on the grasp on the rapidly expanding Universe? We still dont even know the operation of Gravity, only that it is a force which exists. It doesnt much matter because that much we can already prove exists. It is that which we can not touch with even our most wild imaginative speculation, that which some call God or whatever that source is, which is without form. Our source has no form, no geometric properties, no tangible energy, no way whatsoever to prove it's existence outside of personal complete communion with it. And as with anything, if you havent had the experience of communication with God, just like with the experience of learning and understanding the science and mathematic langauges, you will just not know, pure and simple. These two approaches are equally as powerful and equally as important, because they are two sides of the same coin called life. God Bless
Yo, I'd love to have a beer with Stalk, Snocbor and kilo.. Relayer, too. Shocomb adn feelingsofu4t, too. I could learn so much from you guys, but I'd show you how to party
Pffft, all of you meet me at an Irish bar, and you will relearn what the word party means haha I love you guys :cheers2:
