Where is your favorite holiday destination- both in Abroad or in Britain.

As for me its Turkey- specifically Bodrum. Turkish people are always very friendly, its always hot and good beeches. I like the culture as well. There is Shisha bars and also those places where you sit on all the cushions and to drink apple tea. :D

I love it right here. Love Paris obviously and around Paris. Few places in Normandy and Brittany blew me little mind
Really enjoyed our honeymoon which was a little tour around Cuba
Im easygoing. I think were going to Moscow for our first anniversary
Ooh and were off on a Devon.Cornwall trip soon. Never been so should be exciting
One "holiday"ish place ive been and really disliked i have to say is London. Far too dull

If you have friends in Moscow that's really cool, the city is really expensive and full of hassles if you don't know anybody there.

I like Brighton. I know, yes pretty obvious really. There is a definate Ibiza edge to the place. Young people chilling out on the beach, the length of the beach seems to go on forever. And there are cool bars along the beach and the Pier offers some funtastic rides. But most of all, sitting on the shingle beach, the smell of flavoured tobacco with the wind tickling your face. You can see the sun setting, casting its orangey purple glow on the water like gentle ripples of nirvana. And then you get up and back up the hill toward the train station, and consciously feel sorry to leave. I would exchange my council flat for a place in Brighton any day. THis for me is my favourite holiday destination. There are smashing B and Bs. simplistic complete with powdered milk and non turn off kettles with a 14 inch tv on top of a Victorian oak chest of drawers.

I really, relaly like the west country, Devon, Cornwall, Dorset. Also i love the lakes and the peak district, and I go to North Norfolk every year which is more my second home than a holiday destination (11 years this year, blimey)

I also adore Brighton and hope to go to uni there, it had a lovely athmosphere even on the windy, rainy day I went on.

I wouldn't go "on holiday" to anywhere in Britain because I am from Devon/Cornwall so that's not a holiday, it's home and the rest of the year I live in Wales so that's also home.

Abroad, has to be Asia or South America for me.

There are plenty of amazing sights in Britain outside of Cornwall or Devon. Try going to Scotland (North is the best- I was born in Aberdeenshire)- I guarantee you will be impressed.

I've been to Scotland, not for a few years now. Also, Scotland is a right mission and up north gives me the fear.

Don't get me wrong, there are other nice places in Britain (Lake district is nice), but most can't compete with the south west or Wales, all the history, pre-history and untouched evidence, whereas in central England there's stuff you can see, but a lot has been bastardised by people doing research etc (Bath is really disappointing, York is nice but could have been done better).
I'd love to see Ireland though, particularly Newgrange etc, that'd be awesome.
