The start of the 20'th century. As well as helping Brunel with his steamships and bridges. I would have been designing the theatres an cinemas.

I am still at it today.

indus valley and pre-knostic crete. also possibly cahokian and nezca, and lay line building pueblo one, or earlier.

basically (possibly) before the denial of the goodness of logic, the reality of the diversity of the possible, and of personal imagination.

lots of people of long periods of time, can, with only the most basic and simple of tools, can and from time to time have, built almost anything.

magical places and times, before they fell victim to the envy of cruder and less perceptive neighbors or movements within there own cultural meleau

History of any time is always interesting to study. Mainly for lessons on what not to do... but people seldom hear or understand those concepts.

I am currently fascinated with Inca and Mayan civilizations and am growing more appalled knowing what the Spaniards did to their culture.

Man's inhumanity to man has been going on since the beginning of time.

The 1800s. My people came west in covered wagons, some from Missouri, others from Illinois. The opening up of the country, the stories of the cowboys , the cattle drives, the gun fights, the lawlessness of the era, the sagas of the high seas, the land to be gotten--( at the sorrowful expense of the indigenous people, unfortunately). My grandfather, 6 generations back helped to open lots of the country---Mr D. Boone.
