I don't really remember a lot of my childhood...in fact, I only remember a few things from before I was about 12 years old...and even after 12, my memories are sporadic.

My childhood was pretty terrible, but I do have a favorite childhood memory. When I was about 6, I was visiting my grandparents in Florida and they had a neighbor named Jack who was just a bit older than me...we used to harrass my older brother and my dad who would always sun outside...and we'd catch lizards and they would bite Jack and Jack would walk around with a lizard hanging from his finger. It used to freak me out. He also bought me a petunia because he had a crush on me LOL.

I saw Jack again almost every Christmas after that...up until I was 10...then I ran into him again when I was 14...THAT was interesting!

What is one of your favorite childhood memories?

Come to think of it, I don't really have a favorite memory. My childhood pretty much sucked ass...though there was this time when I was in the 1st grade I had a huge crush on Rickie Riley. One day he sent me a note: do you like me circle yes or no. Then for like the next two weeks we played this spy game at reccess. I think I dumped him after people started singing that song:

    Angie and Rickie sitting in a tree-K I S S I N G. I got too embarrassed and broke it off!

    I've repressed most of it.

I'd always go to the beach with my aunt every year. After growing up in the desert the beach is always breathtaking to me.

Now I can swim a lot better too, so now all I gotta worry about is eels. [IMG]

My favorite childhood memory is spending the night at my friends house and... acting like kids. I could go into detail, but why? If you've been there you know what I'm talking about.

Around 1978 - was about 6 - I remember Dad taking me for a walk with the dog a long way over the fields. There are these dusty grey hills in the woods where alot of guys take their scrambling bikes and we sat in the sunset with alot of other kids watching my two cousins who were alot older than me doing jumps over a large ditch.Dunno - just felt truly at home for the first time in life.

I lost my memory in November. I don't know if it was from an ambien overdose or from an event that caused the relapse of my post traumatic stress disorder. I do not remember a lot from my childhood. I do not remember anything bad that happened to me. I only remember going to the zoo or when i lived with my grandparents.
When my grandpa ordered me a swingset with a huge slide and the whole shabang and a sandbox I would for sure say that's the happiest memory I have is having a playground in my own fucking backyard...that rocked.

good memories of camping at yosemite with my grandparents. telling the good ol campfire stories, getting scared of bears (not me my sis), playing volleyball,(when you could set up a net in yosemite.) We camped a lot with my dads side of the family. it was always a blast.

we would go up every summer and spend a couple of weeks with my moms sis and my mammaw (my moms mom) damn, i always loved going to mammaws, she always had the bomb fried chicken tv dinners, was quite the treat to me then.

I have a ton of memories of playing hockey (road hockey with all the neighbhorhood kids, ice hockey with them in my backyard in the winter, at the rink, out of town trips, etc)

Biking, from about 6 years old, all over the neighbhorhood with my best friend (probably about 60 km of them total). When I was 11 and he was 12, we found a dead body.

    Camping with family friends.

My little sister bear macing me.

My best friend biking into his wall (at about 5) and cutting open his head (needed more than 10 stitches) and then when his mom asked what happened, showing her and breaking his collarbone.

    Breaking my arm in Kemano.

I have lots, but a lot of them are jumbled.

I have a ton of good family memories from when I was younger, one though had to be when my neighbor Brandon, my brother, our friend Ben, and I would play king of the raft at the lake house. Or when my dad taught me how to tie my shoe and ride my bike. And.... going to Europe when I was 10, and seeing Mt Saint Michael.
