too many to name!!! i realy like william blake, and the pre raphelites work.........just too many artists really
I think my favourite would have to be Mark Rothko... but also could be Jamie Pollock or even .... there are so many
The hands by Rodin always takes my breath away. It's so beautiful, such a sweet touch... But, I don't think that I have a real favorite artist...

iv always liked monet, since i was little. as i grew up i became a huge dali fan, as well as escher too. i could look at them for hours and just b so confused that its facinating lol they are just so cool lol and then last year we learned about leonardo devinci, that guy was a genus, pure genus....so yea, i like monet, dali, leonardo, and escher =) yet oddly enough my fav. painting is not done by any of my favorite artests, its stary stary night, i just have a thing for the night sky =)
Salvador Dali is my favorite. There's something about the way he viewed the world that really moves me...
^^^ from behind his own eyes? and that he wasnt afraid to let people know what he saw... Dali and Escher stickout pretty far in my mind. I can not wait for Dali's exhibit to come to my area this spring (philly). Hopefully I'll have found mushrooms or more acid by then... But #1 on my list has to be Ralph Steadman. Any one who has seen "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" know's who he is. All the Ink art work you seen on the DVD case is his. When the movie starts that's him drawing/splashing the F&Ling "logo". I remember watching the movie after only like the 5th time ever smoking bud, and I was giggling like a idiot just watching his brush stroke. But that was just the tip of the iceberg, He's a lifelong friend of Hunter S. Thompson (the author) and has colaborated most of his work with his books. What made me fall off the edge for him, is his cynicism towards america. Funny he wanted to become a U.S. citizen (from UK) but Hunter said he would die before he let his friend throw away his life. www.ralphsteadman.com
As alot of you, one of my favorite artists is Salvador Dali. La persistance de la memoire, and the Meditative Rose by Dali and Van Gogh's Starry Night are all my favorite works. http://www.fine-art-painting-gallery.com/dali.html http://www.vangoghgallery.com/painting/p_0612.htm
