I would rather be compared to Marilyn Monroe than hmmm Victoria Beckham. It was actually kinda hard to pick a current celebrity to compare Marilyn to that was super skinny...because MOST of them are underweight.

Morbidly obese folks need their jaws wired shut...and I think their health insurance should pay for it! :D

This thread would be easier to stomach if red, yellow and orange peppers weren't 2.99 each and Banquet fried chicken TV dinners weren't 10 for 10 bucks at my local grocery. More than once my broke ass has had to choose the quantity over the quality. I know many families that are trying to feed their kids on that shit, too. It's sad.

For the record.... not all skinny people are 'underweight'. Not all people are born having the exact same natural weight level. So if larger people don't want to be judged on their weight, they shouldn't judge skinny people on their weight either.

Everyone should probably just shut up about each other's weight and mind their own business.

The money. Always the money. We're all (most) suckin' at the tit of agri biz that has taken over growing, packeging, distributing and providing the junk we consume.Generally speaking, how many of us can/ could feed ourselves if grocery stores suddenly closed? Not many,I think. So we eat their chemical-laden,canned,sugar sweetened, salt laden crap out of necessity. I do have a difficult time feeling too bad for grossly overweight people. I went to an all you can gag down place yesterday and almost everyone there was overweight with a few grossly so. Aside from physically induced obesity, there isn't much excuse for being grossly overweight except for psychological reasons. If a 400 pounder was locked in a room and fed a healthy diet with mostly veggies only,I reckon they'd lose quite a bit of weight ,genes notwithstanding. They could benefit from counciling if such was provided. But everyone deserves health care.
