The first fast and furious was great the others were ok

First comparison that popped in my mind today when I heard about this... But of course, James Dean is on a totally other level as an icon.

This is sad news. I always thought of Paul as an underrated actor. I've seen FastFurious Fanboys already mark out as to what is to come of the unfinished FF7 on other messageboards.

Even if the pole had hit the tank directly, still wouldnt have instantly burst into flames.

My guess is they were both knocked out or killed instantly. If one of them had been conscious there would have been enough time to maybe pull the other one out of not pinned.

Which is what makes it sadder, probably only did come down to a fraction of a second, or 10 degrees here or there of the angle it hit, or going 10 mph slower or faster.....that meant the difference between life or death for one or both

 

Those were good movies. Not sure if I'd own them but still good. I feel for his family. May his soul reach peace.

 

Hope no one minds, but speaking of James Dean, a reconstruction was done on the cause of his wreck. A guy in a '55 Ford station wagon(as I recall) turned left in front of him misjudging Deans speed. The man lived in Reedley, Cal, and lived a long while after the wreck. I've been at that intersection many , many times and a left turn as the man did, can be a dangerous deal. To the west of the intersection about a mile, is a tribute to Dean next to a single store, that a Japanese citizen paid for.

 

On another note, it is estimated that over 140,000 humans die each day, 6000 die per hour and they were all important to someone......Just sayin. Those numbers could not be confirmed, just an estimation. And life goes on.....

 

I'd have to disagree ..it was probably what everyone thought at first and we know we're not all genius.
