:sunny: greetings all - I'm farming in Veneta, just outside Eugene, and wonder who else is around here. Been here almost 3 years on the farm. Still looking for hippies. We have mostly found people who are heavy tattooed, way into crazy fetish stuff, or just want to eat not so well & play video games. Nothing wrong with those things if that's for you, but it isn't our lifestyle. Are there any chill hippies around here who like to play in the dirt, listen to the Dead & other jam bands, dance around the fire on Summer Solstice? I'd sure like to find some folks & be more social!
Ill be that way in a few weeks! Goin towards Bend however to an eco village for a few weeks...you just farmers or you starting a community?
we are really wanting to be part of a community. our place now is too small, though, just 2 acres & we cannot build more sturctures. also, we're not thrilled with our toes becoming webbed in all this rain & are looking to move somewhere a bit drier. What eco-village are you visiting in Bend?
It rains in Veneta? Never rains over here in Springtucky. Well--------maybe a little. Sorry--I didn't really contribute anything. Just yakkin'.

Ahhh-I missed it. Isn't Alpha the commune on the coast? I'm pretty sure I knew some folks from Alpha back in the 70s. I think they had 2 or 3 businesses, one being a roofing company. They were very succesfull ,as I recall.
