MSN I was wondering when someone would publish something along these lines. Dr Frankenstein is slowly discovering that their AI are merely algorithms, or imitations or fakes, and most of what they planned to do with AI in the commercial sector, can already fit on a thumb drive. Past a certain point, the fake is simply good enough for the job, and they can even measure exactly what point that is. Other research along these same lines, have also steadily indicated that huge improvements can be made in shrinking AI down to size. My own work involves customizing fakes for anyone, using a clone of the individual, compared to a mathematical sense of humor. When the machine can fake the operator it begs the question, as to whether there ever was anybody in charge around here, and whether that's actually a tragedy.
