It's really not very ridiculous in it's wording. That it points out alcohol and tobacco don't count isn't a big deal consider it said illegal drugs, not to mention all you have to do is go to a rehabilitation thing to again become eligible, plus it states offences when you were under 18 don't affect anything.
My personal opinion, they do! In drinking I did way more stupid things and ended up getting hurt or something.
I belive that with the Univeristy of Texas that they were going to put it up to vote wether or not marijuana was going to considered the same type of offense as alchohol related...
I have several friends that have goten fucked over for haven weed in their dorm, not only can they kick you out of your school, and dorm, but also pull your financial aid to completely stop your education, just so the gov't can have another uneducated pot smoking bum on the street to use as a bad example.
