facebook haters

Are doing it wrong.

What's the problem with it? I've noticed the people who complain about facebook are the ones who either

1) are addicted to it
2) don't know how to use the privacy settings
3) don't know how to ignore requests
4) don't have any friends.

I don't spend hours a day on facebook, but I am able to keep up with dozens of friends I would not necessarily have been able to before. With it I have found old friends who I'm pleased to find still share my interests. I've played music with old friends and had coffee with others. perhaps I wouldn't have known anything about their whereabouts without fapbook. Now I can judge people by their profiles and pictures instead of bothering to introduce myself to a bunch of douchebags. networking is awesome and is making the world smaller.

And yes, the apps suck, but there's this handy feature where you can ignore ALL your requests! GENIUS!

I'm not a huge fan of facebook, only thing I'm irritated about is this massive bug.

It's useful, but nothing either to despise or throw any weight behind.

 

for the most part, most of those type of sites are really all the same, it is what it is.

I like them because I can keep up with family and friends, especially since we moved out of Indiana.

I don't wanna have to open a different browser every time I get a facebook message, but I will if I HAVE to.

Facebook has one huge flaw in the privacy settings.

It's exclusion based. Meaning you cant stop people you just added from seeing your shit untill you add them to the list. SO, you add a person and then add them to a list to block them from sections, this gives the person time to access the info you dont want them to see.

It's fucking backwards.

 

I typically don't add anyone but people I know, or people that I don't care if they can access my information, it's not like I put my credit card information out there... you choose what you put on the internet.

 

That is just not true.

 

I only add people I know...still doesnt mean I want all of those people to know my email addy. but I do want others to have access to it.

 

i am no longer allowed on facebook (relationship deal) because of my cyber terrorism that i've used it for...

i loved it though, and spent a lot of time on there...

i miss it dearly
