eyebrows..

what a difference they make.. lol.

i screwed up one of my eyebrows... and made it too thin, and then i was like.. aww sheiiit... then it looked really un even, now both my eyebrows are ugly. lol..

so im trying to let them grow back...

but the problem is, is the hairs only grow back like one at a time, so it makes me feel like plucking them off, but i have to leave them on, so that my eyebrows would get back to normal.

now i have one of them mad eyebrows. lol.

 

lol!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Eyebrows are hard. Just pencil them in a bit for now. Or use a powder to do it.

 

yeah, just chill out. most women have done it/seen it.

little known fact: thicker eyebrows make a woman look younger. the reverse for men.

i let my eyebrows grow out for a LONG TIME. for a while i looked like i had a couple caterpillars on my forehead. but i'm SO HAPPY with them now. they're full, i hardly have to shape them at all, and it makes me look so youthful and healthy.

 

lol yeah, im gonna let my brows grow for a longg time til its normal looking again. i tried to put eyeliner on my eyebrows, then it just made them look extremely fake. and worse. lol i mean, i could just go buy eyebrow pencil(whatever you call it), but i figure it would just do the same thing...

my eyebrows were so thin and what there was of them was so blonde when i was in elementary school people used to ask me what happened to them. They've darkened now, but there are still very thin.

 

on sephora.com, bare essentials makes an eyebrow kit that kicks ass. it's a powder to match your eyebrow color, along with a very small, stiff brush that you use to fill in your eyebrows a bit, then a clear tube of something like mascara, but not as stiff, to keep the brows in place. i love it. i can't live without it.

 

do you pluck them at all?

 

I loooove sephora's products. I hardly fuck with my eyebrows. maybe every two months I shape. Im dark so its not very noticeable. I do my sisters eyebrows coz she always fucks em up.

 

ive done the over-plucking one eyebrow then evening them out and having to grow them back, and its all looking wierd, and what i did was get the lightest brown yellowish pencil to color it in and make it look even , and then add a bit of powder so you cant tell it did it. just dont pluck till theyre ready! you might need that one hair! yeah, it sucks, i was so pissed at myself when i did it. i feel ya.

 

eyebrows are tricky!
i had a friend who thought that using a razor to shape her eyebrows was a good idea,
and she ended up shaving half of it off haha

i usually just pluck my own eyebrows just to keep them neat, but last week my friend wanted to pluck them for me, so i let her and now they are REALLY thin and i don't like them
so i gotta wait for them to grow back, and i'm not letting anybody else pluck them again!

 

Get them waxed next time less pain less time.

im lucky i have bangs so if i ever screw up i can just straighten my bangs out to make them cover them im kind of a professional at doing eyebrows now i do my moms all the time
their kind of a hastle, i did mine once and now i have to keep doing it and hair grows where it wasnt even before

i learned the hard way when i was younger. i let my mom do them when i started having to pluck them but one day my mom was drinking again and i really needed them done for a dance so i let her use wax and boy did i looked surprised and not because i made the expression but because my mom took most of it off and shaped them into an n. it took me forever to get them to wear i like them. so i say just pluck as needed and never try to change the shape cuz you want a change. it never works out...

 

At one time I would have shunned a topic like eyebrows. Never been one for makeup or shaping and it all seemed so 'chickish'.

Then somewhere around 30 I started growing a unibrow, a goatee and I can't tell if it's my hairline trying to reach my eyebrow or the other way around but there's a gap there that's subtly trying to be bridged. My regime, I suppose is more based on damage control than getting stylish brows. Ugh.

Wax is a harsh mistress but she gets the job done.

 

I *hate* my eyebrows. I've got blonde barely visible brows and they don't naturally grow properly (my left eyebrow hairs grow more upwards than out to the side and I have to gel them down with clear mascara) or are symmetrical to start with, so I get my brows waxed because I got tired of plucking everyday and having them grow back in at different times. It lasts about a month and it's only $10.

Plus they trim it up shape them better than I can. It's worth it.

 

yeah, i was always really lucky with my eyebrows, apparently, until i had a baby. then, suddenly my naturally perfectly shaped brows started to look like caterpillars. i got them waxed a couple times, but they ended up too thin.

 

I leave my eyebrows alone, all of my friends who pluck them look like idiots. One of my friends got into her moms bathroom when she was younger and used hair remover on her face thinking that it was mosturizer. It was so funny when she came to school for weeks without eyebrows. It took almost a month for her to look normal again.
