I've been thinking about this for a while. Any information would be appreciated...such as... How bad did it hurt? How long did it take to heal? Did it leave a scar or mark on your face? Can you take the ring out and then put it back in after it has healed? About how much did it cost? Any other things you want to say about it. Thanks!
I've had mine for close to 2 years now if not longer. It didn't hurt at all. It seemed to heal up really quick and I can take it out if I want to but never really do. I laid down $50 for a good shop to do it right and it has been a perfectly healthy piercing like my tongue which I also paid 50 for at the same place. That's not to say that all eyebrow piercings will go ok. I know a kid who had it done for dirt cheap in some shitty shop and it migrated all the way to the end of his eyebrow and eventually fell out like his body pushed it out to where the skin around it got thinner and thinner until it came out (this happened over time). It was done improperly and so his body rejected it. I had mine done with a curved barbell with two round ends. Sergical stainless steel. I don't like rings for eyebrows because I see them getting caught easily. My barbell gets snagged on shirts sometimes when I take them off.
Migration is an issue that differs from person to person... My suggestion would be to think of it as a temporary piercing. Go into it with the idea that it will be coming out in about a year. If it doesn't, great! If it does, you won't be disappointed.
This happened to me. But just before it came completely out, I got hit in the face at a concert on accident and it got knocked out. Not fun! I now have a pretty noticable scar there. I thought about getting it done again, so that I could wear a ring to cover the scar, but I figured if that one came out too it would just make it that much worse, so I just said screw it. But, I liked it when I had it. Didn't hurt, costed me about $45 Just make sure if you decide to get it, as with all peircing, make sure its done by a good, experienced peircer, and you take care of it through the stages of healing, and you should be fine.
