ive been smoking for the last few years everyday or every few days and everything has been fine but a few months ago i went to a friends house and i took greens off his bong and i had an immediate effect from it. i dont remember much of the rest of the day i just know that i turned pale white and i was going in and out of consciousness and after i got home i threw up and went to bed and the next morning i was fine. i have still been smoking and things have been fine but yesterday my friend and i had a pretty gnarly sesh and i wasnt feeling anything so we kept going then about 5 minutes later i got the same effects again, the paleness and sickness. i threw up yet again and then went to sleep and im fine. i was told that there could be a possibility that im allergic to certain strands or something. i wouldnt call myself a lightweight because ill match anybody i know it just seems that certain strands destroy me. if anybody knows anything about this please help.

That's called a whitey, and it happens because you smoked too much weed at once. You get pale, and always try to pass out or sleep, and you get dizzy and 'spin'. I hate that feeling. That's why I try to keep it down to a few bowls, and try not to smoke cigarettes while high (they make me spin). Usually when you're having a whitey you need something to drink and something to eat and something to pay attention to. If you're watching tv and recouperating from a whitey, you can feel a bit better, until you pass out (which you need to do to feel completely better). Hope I helped...I hate whities.. they're rare but horrible!

yeh, here we call it greening out, but that includes getti9ng sick from drinkning + weed

it usually only happens when mixing with tobacco

it is a weed-overdose, sometiems it can come on from very little weed, depending on how your body is and what other drugs you have in you

So, I know I'm resurrecting a long dead thread but I figure it's better than starting a new one...

Been smoking for a few years now...3-4 times a week for most of that time, usually not all that much in each session.

I've cut back big time in the last 6 months as many of my friends have moved away and/or circumstances have changed. Now I'd say I smoke twice a week on average.

It seems that most of the time that I smoke now, I get some pretty negative side effects. They usually manifest themselves in just a general feeling of super lightheadedness (sort of a mild whitey - which I've also had more frequently in the last year) accompanied by (sometimes) strange jaw pain. Anyone else ever have these experiences? I'm not smoking a ton - usually just a hit or two when by myself.

I'd hate to have to stop smoking weed, it has been such an enjoyable and often productive outlet for me, but if this continues to get worse I might have to play with that idea.

what, exactly, do you mean by losing consciousness? ACTUALLY blacking out, or having feelings of drifting in and out of reality? i've had the latter, and am not sure if that was a "whitey" or not. it seemed more of a psychedelic effect brought on by the drug.
