What are some fun exotic instruments you like or have?

I've been looking at this Autoharp recently

I've also owned a sitar that I had online, unfortunately of poor quality

There is an "Egyptian Lute" available on display in my local exchange store. It's going pretty cheap, but the strings appear to made out of...well,string,so don't know about chances of finding replacement strings. It would probably serve well as a decorative piece. Also don't know how Egyptians tuned their lutes...Could feasibly approximate some kind of North African tuning but...you know,I figured I can live without it...They are also selling a boxed collection of blues harps (Each harp is in a different key),and I have been tempted to buy them, but once again, figured I can live without them...

^ You actually hit a strong point fair light. I have seen problems with restringing these instruments. or at least for a reasonable price, there are always strings online, but knowing how to do it may also be another thing

I made a dulcimer a while back, but never learned to play it.
    Much like the one below:

If I had time or patience to learn a new instrument it would either be bagpipes or accordion. I loves those 2 instruments. Not really common ones for women to play though.

I had an autoharp once. I could ruin my budget on exotic instruments, there are too many that I want! Someday.

Tablas are probably among the first that I'd get when I have a budget to start collecting instruments I'll never be able to play with proficiency.
