Ok so here is the deal. I want to lose weight, but I don't have money to go to a gym or even buy equipment. Is there any technics I can do that won't cost any money and will be affective. I have started walking, but in the winter it gets to cold outside. I need indoor exercises. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Try workout dvd's. I have a bunch of yoga ones that kick my ass when I need it.

well.. find yourself a treadmill on craigslist.. you can find them insanely cheap.. every mid life crysis woman buys one and like 10% of them use'em.. you can find treadmills as low as like $20

some equipment is super cheap.. dumb bells are only a couple dollars if you go with some 5lb bells.. or even 2.5# bells.. pilates/yoga balls are cheap too and you can do tons of exercise with them.. also if you go down the yoga/pilates route.. you will need to at least invest in a mat.. otherwise it wont seem comfortable on the floor.. unless you like laying on your floor

screw buying DVDs.. you'll find everything you want on youtube and a lil bit of google searching.. livestrong.com has tons of videos teaching techniques

get a few garbage bags, put them together and fill with water, tie them up put in pillow case or bookbag. curl them, lift them..

get a truck tire with a rim and lay it in the yard, flip it over and keep flipping it over til you get tired..

get a bunch of bricks and move them from one pile to another..

If you have Netflix, they have some pretty good videos on Instant Watch.

If not, I agree jo_k_er_man. Check out Youtube.

Well the only problem with 5lb weights is the aren't heavy enough for me. I can easily lift 40lbs. I use to weight train, but then I graduated high school and couldn't use the equipment anymore. I am definitely gonna check out the videos online. I think up into December I can still walk, but it will be nice to have something to due when the holidays come along. Thanks

Treadmills are a waste of space and money.
Get some boxing gloves and a bag, and start beating on it. Youtube to learn proper technique.

For your muscle you can also do a youtube search on bodyweight exercises, or if you want to lift weight just fill some milk jugs or something up with water or sand.

walk/run/ride your bike/roller blade///spend your time outside before it gets cold and even then in the winter you lose more weight being outside running and playing

exercise during the winter = huge cal burn... seeing as your body just needs to speed up the blood pumping to keep the body warm.. means you can usually get more burn with less effort

Really? I didn't know that, maybe I will be walking when its cold out. I just ran into a bit of luck this week actually. I enrolled in school on Tuesday and along with getting my degree. I found out I can work with a personal trainer for free, I figure I have two years of college at the least so by the time I graduate I can be completely happy with my body. I can't wait to start school, the also offer free massges too. :D I'm so excited to start school now, I can't wait to reach my goals.
