Has anyone got any home made remedies to kill off odors coming from footwear/boots? I'm about to get some new boots in the next few weeks but for now I'm just using my old pair to get around the stable. Problem is, they smell like wet socks... Especially once I've worn them lol. Now, I feel like I can scent that, so I'm aware of it. I personally don't stink and although very self conscious, my miss say I don't have odors to worry about. but still, I'd like to air them out or something?

That was my thought too lol. I use that stuff in my fridge, well I've a couple boxes open in there anyway. I'll give that a try then.

 

yeah - baking soda overnight, and pour out...air in fresh air if you can for a while.

I've had some bad stinking shoes through the years. lol I don't give a crap.

I'm on a break from cleaning. lol BUT I had some brief "excitement"/out of the ordinary thing happen as someone began banging on the door. I eventually recognized who was there.

Mama's asleep and a girl/woman I haven't seen in a bit over 15 years came by... and wanted a ride. I think she would have loved to stayed here but that wasn't an option so I IMMEDIATELY told her I'd give her a ride but hopefully she wouldn't have me drive her to Tumbucktoo. (yes! I said that ) She was a little high but basically she is torally absolutely cra cra. period. lordhavemercy...I haven't listened to a full-blown schizophrenic go on for a long little while but I got to hear one tonight. :dizzy2: :drummer: :sultan: unk: I'd never seen her that calm and cra cra all at the same time. This is a Very Good thing.

I cannot describe how elated I was that where I took her, they kept her.

but I'm still sad for her.

but I'm busy and really glad she found a kindred soul that wasn't even all that far away for me to drive her.

those riding boots are a very popular fashion item these days.....my waitress yesterday for lunch was wearing a black miniskirt with black fake riding boots....it was a nice look if not beautifully slutty.....

I knew her too well for too long, even if it was double digit years ago.

I know I'm broken...but I'm lucky and the scars healed over so that only I know and can really tell. They don't even bother me anymore.

Then, I know other broken people that I have loved and do love still, even when the only thing I can do is give them a ride and pray for them.

Horses don't smell though. well I don't think they do at all, just similar to rabbits. Just like.. Manure smell.
