    Hi.

I'm new here, and if I have anything at all like political leanings, I guess "anarchist" might be a label that somewhat fits. I've been wary of labels for a long time now, because I just can't seem to make myself color inside any lines whatsoever. To me, being called an "anarchist"--one who is against rulers or being ruled--is like being called someone who is against people being treated unfairly and pushed around. It's like saying I'm against tasering innocent people, or against someone being able to put on a uniform and thus have magic powers over entire crowds of people, just because he displays some magic symbols or says some magic words or is the right color. It just...doesn't seem all that "radical" or "extremist" at all to me. I do understand that to a certain extent for now I'm somewhat forced to deal with an entrenched economic system that I see as abusive and exploitive, e.g., it so freaks me out that we have people in China working night and day to make most of our stuff for us. I do occasionally vote, but only if I can see a really overriding reason to do so. I have a job, which keeps me inside and eating. But my so-called "anarchism" enters into my decisions every day. It's the reason I stand up for my abused friend who is living with a crazy roommate who sometimes pushes her. But it's also why I'd say the crazy roommate has the freedom to believe whatever he wants, even if I don't like it--He just doesn't have the right to enforce that belief on others. In other words, this so-called dangerous philosophy to me is more about fairness than making bombs. It's about how we choose to interact, I think.
