should give these concepts a listen. They're backed up by your beloved science, only they continue to spectulate and experiment and draw connections beween various aspects of science and spiratuality instead of just sticking with the old "We're just cosmic accedents and that is the whole picture, nothing else mroe to look into" mentality that you use to feel superior to people who believe things are deeper and more meaningful then they appear. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tSk51Lp-vHU"]YouTube - What the bleep do we know? Down the rabbit hole. part 1 pretty much a peice of quantum physics as it relates to our existance and perception and the nature of the universe in general.
This is the segment so far I find most interesting. it starts out speaking of common conceptual flaws about God and turns to the mapping out of thought... trying to structure how we percieve the world. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZZcvo2d3gMo&feature=related"]YouTube - What The Bleep Do We Know (6 of 12)
What the Bleep Do We Know is a recruiting film for a cult. Ramtha's School of Enlightenment. When JZ Knight is in the film, "she is not being interviewed", Ramtha is.
I noticed a lot of silly shit in there too. Didn't know about the cult but it does end up dissapointing the further you go into it. Maybe i should watch things in full before I post them. But I still think they're is some good insight there even if they took it in a wacky direction.
It's definitely one of those films everyone should see. It should just come with a disclaimer =P Some of the stuff in there is valid, some of it isn't. But one of the Quantum Physicists that was in the movie tried to sue to get his part removed, because they misrepresented what he said.
Science and spirituality are not beloved by me.. But i use them. To work out why i am here. THAT is how i use my so called genius iq What other use is there Existance is a riddle. We have but a short time to solve it.. i believe in so doing we pass a test. or not,, what else is there fast cars dugs lust and power ..then,, delcine into death. I find those things of no interest at all
Science and spirituality are moving ever closer. I was an atheist from a very young age, and as I grew older, I grew more and more fervent in my beliefs. I took great joy in picking apart the logic behind religions and the views of religious people. After I matured a bit, and educated myself on various subjects, I started to realize more and more how it was logical for me to believe in a greater power of some sort - not the theistic deity that I had grown to despise, but some greater, unfathomable power - and I saw just how well the idea of such a power fit in with recent scientific discoveries. I've seen What the BLEEP, and there are good things to be taken from it, but as always one must apply a bit of critical thinking. Overall, though, I think if you educate yourself on quantum physics and spirituality, you will find more and more that they fit together and compliment each other. I think it's hilarious that I, an adamant atheist and sceptic, now find the notion of "God" perfectly logical.
If you spend all your time looking for the meaning of existence, you will miss the purpose of existence.
I would go so far as to say science and spirituality are like physics and chemistry all part of 'understanding. Understanding is observation and deduction.. how does this not apply to spirituallity? We see the universe and what do most ask first? Why.. not how. Spirituality comes 1st and thus religions hold so much power because 'HOW' is a lot of thinking and dry math. I believe we know little and reality is VERY large and our ideas hardly scratch it's surface. This fits with our status of children in a big wide world
this is an oxymoron you sound like the government.. 'Lets freely give uo some of our liberty to ensure our freedom'
I'm not athiest. Or not black and white about it. But I AM opposed to some religions, like christianity. In christianity you can't talk about conceptual flaws in god or quantum physics, sorry.
