Ever wondered why fuel prices are so high?

    Absolutely no reason for fuel prices to be that high with the amount of people driving.

    governments still worshipping greedy fossil fuel extraction and processing, even subsidising it with tax money, and still they try to gouge as much as ever they can.
    only real answer is to charge electrics off of massive storage and panels at home. electric cars still too expensive and used market has yet to develop for them.
    this last will change, that or human species hits a major speed bump. which we're heading for that anyway. maybe sooner then expected, maybe not.
    fires, storms, pandemic, and we're still paying oil companies their blackmail. they should be paying us for the infrastructure they use and have allowed to go to hell,
    most of which, with the exception of pipelines, which pose another needless hazzard, the didn't build nor was it built just for them.

    and yes, it is also a hazardous occupation working for them at the extraction level and even at the processing places.
