wow dude - ive been waiting for someone to post on this book. Its actually blood meridian.. and yeah its good. you're from texas i see, so it will probably be even better. It is the most bloodthirsty novel i've ever read, so if you're squeamish you might not get thru it. It happens back in the wild west days, and theres a band of killers hired by the mexicans to kill apaches that this kid gets mixed up in.. by the end of the book i was thinking the one leader might be an incarnation of satan..you'll think about it for a while after you read it i bet. Its kind of a description of just how ugly humanity can get - among many other things.. so dont think it'll turn out all happy and gay in the end..but still worth reading. Cormac Mcarthy is the author. I plan to read all of his books. tell me what u think when you're done..
oh yeah - some important dialogue is in spanish, so a translation dictionary might help, and maybe just a plain old dict. as well. This guy has a huge vocabulary.
