Ever get shot down by the person you liked the most ?

I Have. not recently long time ago. Out of all the girls i met ..the one i wanted most is the one that had the absolute least interest. Go figure...this happen to anyone else ?

Yes indeed this has happened to me a few times but I was kind of reaching for the impossible. Two women that I strongly desired and just couldn’t stop thinking about. One is my friend who’s a massage therapist that was soooo, sooo sweet that I just needed to have her. Petite, physically fit Latina, short hair, everything I wanted. She wasn’t interested in men, only women. That sucked so bad but I completely understood. Still sucked.

Then there was an older lady I dearly admired. I’ve always been attracted to mature women ever since I was a kid, and this beautiful short haired silver fox of a woman was the woman of my dreams! She was just as sweet as can be, very fit, and a very focused worker /manager at her job. She was married unfortunately, and heavily committed to her husband, even though she was slightly disgruntled with him.

Regardless, I’ve maintained good friendships with these women because they had sweet warm personalities. So, I know what you’re going through, man.

 

30 plus years ago I wanted this friend so bad, I did everything I could to get her interested, not interested. I was remaining in the friend zone. 6 months latter I met the woman who I would marry. Been married for 36 years. The friend became a train wreck married 3 times lots of problems. As Garth Brooks says some of gods greatest gifts are unanswered prayers

 

It's not happened to me but the prettier the girl the more in demand they will become .They can be very selective and therefore play harder to get.

If it's any consolation ,I have been out with a model .Whilst she was the prettiest, she was perhaps one of the worst girls I have been out with. In the end I settled for a girl next door type .

 

Back in highschool, yes. The 1 girl I had a hard-on for constantly never went out with me.

Hind sight 20/20, I'm good with it!

It is good when it happens that way. If you had pushed too hard and got bitter, you would not be in that situation right now.

 

And the bigger the pain in the ass they are when they manage to get you under their thumb.

My girl next door was actually 250 miles away and a date involved an airline journey.
We are still flying to and fro every few weeks, even since she moved to London 42 years ago.
It was all her 12 siblings, first having birthdays, then getting married, later having children and now grandchildren that keeps us on our feet.
We joined in again a few weeks ago when our daughter made me feel REALLY old by having twins.

 

It’s better it turned out this way too

 

It was always geography that caught me out. The first time Germany and then Australia. Jane being only a 250 mile drive plus an 8 hour ferry journey, seemed like a walk in the park. Fortunately after a few years, she got the confidence to fly.
