Feeling insignificant? Check it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9D05ej8u-gU"]The Most Astounding Fact - Neil deGrasse Tyson - YouTube
We all carve out our own place in life. That is not necessarily belonging in a broad sense. Stay true to who you are and it will settle.
Life is a circle. It is not being dismissive of your observations as what you are saying is very much what we all do. The goal is to move toward something or anything and if you feel it is a circle you need to find what is making you move that way. Just remember that a circle can take you right to where you might need to be rather than leaving it.
I think that life is bewildering and difficult for everyone. People who have disabilities face an even greater level of difficulty. If you take the circumstances that you find yourself in, and you are determined to make the best of life that you can for you self and others, that is something heroic. some may have more, some may have less, but whoever strives to follow that path as best they can is imho, an equal. An accomplishment may seem small, but small things are often like a seed that can grow into something great. Do a good thing for someone, and they in turn may feel inspired to do good things for someone else, and so on, so it is possible for one small act to be multiplied many times over. here's a couple quotes: “Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great.” ― Mark Twain “Everybody can be great...because anybody can serve. You don't have to have a college degree to serve. You don't have to make your subject and verb agree to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love.” ― Martin Luther King Jr.
We are all part of something bigger. I like to say we're "insignificantly significant", if that makes sense. Afterall, what is an ocean but trillions of tiny drops of water?
