Is it just me or is Etsy always seeming to be very flakey these days?? Every single time i've tried to go on in the last month or so i've been having problems. Images don't show up, links are broken or never load, checkouts are shady...? I find it horribly irritating when i am trying to make a purchase and i can't even properly order my item due to web errors. Etsy is a great site and is a wonderful place for crafters, but i'm just needing to VENT right now as i am trying to purchase something and get in contact with a seller with ZERO success. URGH!!!!
I've known a couple people ~ on more than a couple of occasions ~ who've had problems with etsy, similar to yours. It's unfortunate, because it's a great site for crafters, and website probems tends to lose customers.
Do you use Firefox? Don't know if it could be related, but I have a shitload of problems trying to use Etsy with Firefox. I often have to open Internet Explorer just to go to the site and there's no problems after that.
This is really common. Trust me, its not you. Its etsy. lol Their servers are actually doing ALOT better than they were a month or so ago. The downtimes and lagging are only happening sporadically now. Before, it was an everyday occurance! Overall .. if you can get a shop established there .. its not a completely bad place to sell. At only .20 a listing, its a helluva lot cheaper than ebay!
