This isn't exactly a surprise but I'd like to share this information. Etizolam is not chemically a benzodiazepine, but very closely related. This has been suspected but not confirmed by me until a few weeks ago when I bought a 12-drug home drug test at Rite-Aid and pissed in it after doing etizolam the previous day. That test was pretty expensive but it was worth it to know. Failed miserably...you could not be more positive for benzos than that. Don't know if it would fail GC/MS, should have send the piss in to the company so they can do GC/MS confirmation but that was enough for me to know it shouldn't be used when you will be subject to substance testing.
