The native Inuit lifestyle sure looks different than the romanticized version given by some of the Paleo diet enthusiasts of sitting in an exercise-free, comfortable setting and eating Western-culture fried muscle meats of farmed land animals (bacon, sausage, steak, chicken), dairy butter, cheese, chocolate, and coffee.

I'm pretty sure my neighbor is an Eskimo. She's from Juno and I've seen photos of her parents who look very native.

I wish she was a nice person. I'd like to learn some about their culture.

Yes, we have already established that the Paleo diet is bullshit. It seems to be an obsession with you.

The paleo movement devolved into various groups, each trying to promote its own personal tastes that it acquired from its immediate social environment.

The following article says that beer and wine are paleo. Honey and grapes collected by people in the stone age could have inadvertently fermented and formed alcohol. The article says it's alright to have another beer. Quote: "So go ahead, have another. Science says it’s okay."

On the Paleo Diet? Enjoy a Beer
Our ancestors likely got into fermented grains and fruit, so drink up.

People in stone age times probably ate sugary plants, honey, and the type of stinging ants that have the bulb of sugary substance. This means that sugar is paleo. Have another lollipop..

Residues of grains have been found on stone tools and teeth of people toward the end of the paleolithic era. This means that grains are paleo. Have another bowl of Froot Loops. Science says it's ok.

Lactase-persistence started about 7500 years ago due to a gene alteration after the paleolithic era ended. Only about 25% of the world adult population today is latase-pesistent and can eat unfermented dairy without issues. Even so, some in the paleo community (usually those in the lactase-persistent U.S. and Europe) claim that dairy products are paleo because infants breastfeed. So go ahead. Have another stick of butter.

The following archival footage provides compelling evidence that dairy butter is paleo.
