Many have forgotten the work's of one such Erik Brann formally of Iron Butterfly, We all know the classic song that put them on the map which was improvised by a than seventeen-year old Brann in a one take session after only playing guitar for three months! The band went on to sell millions but were eventually forgotten in the wake of the 70's. Brann was with the band from 67'-70' their most prosperous years as a band together making three classic albums, two recorded and one final live album to top it off.

Many considered him to be the forgotten prodigy child that never saw his full potential and was only seen as a one hit wonder guitarist. I feel the same way and see him as the most under rated guitarist I know of.

May you forever rock those who came before you,

    R.I.P. EB

I wish someone would at least say something about this, to at the very least show some consideration towards losing one of the god fathers of modern day rock 'n roll and music for that matter.
