Eric Anderson Tom Rush and Patrick Sky

    These folkies were from the Greenwich Village scene and one of Eric's famous toons was Violets of Dawn,Tom Rush was more folk blues and his Long John was a great one and Pat Skys Don't blow your nose on the wrong side of town was a novelty in itself.
    They were on the electra and vanguard labels.

    Anyone familiar with these guys?

    yep. just worked with one at the folkie venue and TR is coming in a few weeks.
    If you get a chance to catch them live, it's great. they are still performing well and the crowds have been good here, attentive, happy, sing along loudly when prompted. (which is sort of funny to watch)

    You are into folk thats great, are you into writing music, or playing?if so do you record? let everyone know.It will make things more interesting hearing from artists themselves their opinions are more frank and honest.
