Hey, I'm 19 years old, and for about 6 months I've had this really depressing problem. When erect, my glans has become rubbery soft, and the whole thing doesn't feel right anymore - as in, if I tense my PC muscles, there's no more "strength" in it. It's still working, but it has been leading to some really unsatisfactory erections. I don't remember injuring it in any way... but maybe it happened somehow and I didn't notice. I just got dumped, and I think it had something to do with this, as well. It's starting to affect my life, a lot. Before you say "go to the doctor", I've been to an urologist, and I did a set of general blood work - turned out okay, my blood pressure - okay. He said that "nothing could be wrong" at my age and "this is the kind of problem that will solve itself". I insisted, and he told me to do some testosterone tests, which turned out fine, apparently. I've tried all the usual stuff - vit B complex, ginseng etc. - didn't help. I think I might resort to taking Cialis or something in the end. Does anyone know what could be the cause of this problem? Maybe how to fix it?
Dude, I'm pretty sure this is normal. I can be so hard a cat can't scratch it and the glans is still easily able to flop around fold back etc. Don't worry about it. Stay Brown, Rev J
The glans is soft even when the penis is erect. If you are uncircumcised, it may be softer than if you are cut, where the glans is exposed to your underwear, and gets a little less sensitive.
