i saw EOTO this spring, and i gotta say, it was one of the most uninteresting, unoriginal shows Ive seen in a long long time

sorry to be negative, i was just really disappointed and had to get it off my chest

    - EOTO just isn't my thing either. I love sts9, particle, lotus... you can't say that someone who doesn't like something doesnt understand it (especially because of age???). Everyones has their own opinion.

btw n00b is with zeros - get with it!!

ok, I have a couple years on Bluedoggie, and I like Travis' projects. I like Zilla more, but I love real drums and Jamie J, soooo..
on the other hand, Travis and Jason let me paint on stage with them!

and I was a Cheesehead for the bluegrass and crabbed about the 'electronica shit/ greasy kids stuff.'

i love that electro element to SCI....its what makes them so much more eclectic....grass, funk, electronic jam music....beautiful.....i'm looking foward to the first night in Berkeley....just got my tix a few days ago and i can' wait for night one, STS9 and Bisco.....should be a psychedelic night....and night two will be a good, down in the grass and dirt kind of show.....feeling the earth in the notes....can't wait, should be fun....wish i could go to Hornings....too bad....so sad....

yeah, you are saying that it is OK for YOU to be ageist but not folks older than you.... geeez.

I'm loving Bassnectar right now, and money willing, I see as many Travis gigs as I can.
Trying to work out Sonic Bloom somehow!

heard of, not had the chance to see.
that's really the breaker for me.
Heck, I even liked Colin Hay live (former frontman for Men at Work). Have 3 discs, from his manager.

Lorin (bassnectar) has a definite signature sound and I don't pick up on that with other DJs.
sure some are nice entertainment but Lorin can take me THERE.
I guess I don't listen to much livetronica and related (I don't have the definitions/classifications down..I'm old...) that I can say this is so and so.
I know Travis' touch on sound, and definitely Jamie Janover's.
